Join us for the 10th annual Ivory Perry Park Concert Series sponsored by the Whitaker Foundation, Missouri Arts Council, and Commerce Bank. This FREE concert is located at Ivory Perry Park just north of ConnectCare on Belt Ave. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair, a canned good for a local food pantry, and the whole family!
July's artist is Stan Coleman and his STL Metro Youth Jazz Band. Stanley Coleman is a musician and educator who began his professional music career at age 13, singing and playing sax in youth bands. Along the way he's performed with B.B. King, Gladys Knight, Lou Rawls, Kool & the Gang, The O'Jay's, and other legends of the day. The Stan Coleman STL METRO YOUTH JAZZ BAND features students from East St. Louis, University City, Maplewood-Richmond Heights and St. Louis schools. In case of rain the concert will be at Pilgrim Congregational Church at 826 Union Ave. For more info go to www.ivoryperrypark.com and friend Union Communion Ministries on Facebook!
