Step into a different kind of meeting and party space: the creative world of the Regional Arts Commission!
The RAC building on the Delmar Loop, across from The Pageant, attracts attention thanks to its unusual architecture, curved neon sign, and Kardia, the brilliantly colored glass artwork by William Cochran on the east wall. Inside, the art-covered walls warmly welcome your guests and transform any event into a unique occasion.
Built in 2003 to serve the administrative and artistic needs of the community, it houses the offices for RAC and the Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts as well as The Gallery at RAC and the performance studio. The building is home to the regions first Cultural Resource Center, where the business of art takes place in well-appointed meeting rooms, a stunning boardroom and in the resource library dedicated to arts management.
Our friendly staff will assist with planning and accommodate your needs down to the last detail. With special pricing to accommodate nonprofits, your dream event can become a reality.
The Boardroom
Conduct your business in the round! Your board and committee members will be seated at a breathtaking burled wood table reserved for the most important discussions and decisions. Wired and ready for all your technological needs, our boardroom will give your meeting a professional edge at an affordable price. (29' x 25'', capacity: 20 at the boardroom table, plus 20 more in the room)
The Conference Rooms
Whether it's a workshop, a presentation, or a social event, there are many options: Conference Room B is excellent for use as a classroom or for small presentations (22' x 32'), while Conference Room C can accommodate larger groups of 150 people (28' x 47'). An easily-accessible kitchen and serving nooks in each space make it neat and easy to set out coffee, drinks and foods!
The Gallery
Let our ever-changing display of local art be the backdrop to your reception. Or open the beautiful glass doors and let your guests spill out onto the street! (32' x 25')
The Studio
With seating for up to 130 people, this space has become one of our most popular. From rehearsals to opening night (and even banquets!), our studio is your blank canvas! (50' x 34', lofty ceilings and studio lights) The studio is ideal for:

The Rooftop Terrace
